Introduction

A great deal of interest (hype perhaps) is being generated by social media (Twitter and Facebook) at the moment. While its applications for academia and the enterprise haven't yet become clear, it is possible to integrate or add social media functions to your WebObjects application.

TweetButton for WebObjects

WebObjects support for Twitter's TweetButton has been added to the ERJQuery framework.

Prerequisites

To share a WebObjects page/link on Twitter or Facebook requires that it is bookmark-able. i.e it is made available as a direct action. Therefore it needs to be stateless as well.
