I am an old emacs hand (and WordStar for that matter) So CTRL-K and CTRL-D are deep in my chemical makeup. Fortunately, WOLips provides a way to not lose the habit. Go to preferences, search for keys, and you will find under General->Keys that there is a scheme for Emacs.
